I am the artist and craftsman behind Found in the Grain.
I often find myself drawn to the pieces of wood that are a little less predictable... the ones with unusual grain, unique shapes, interesting figure, and movement that gives them a personality of their own.
That personality becomes the starting point for my work. I build each composition around what the material brings, creating pieces that are original by nature and deliberate by design.
